Recorded in New York in 1941, features Thelonius Monk on piano - his first recording date - alongside Joe Guy on trumpet, Nick Fenton on bass and Kenny Clarke on drums.

You have to love Charlie stretching out in what sounds like a jam-session environment. Then there is trumpeter, Joe Guy, who sounds like he just woke up from a four-day bender. Totally entertaining!
