I was looking at the Beatles "Devil In Her Heart" posting and learned that Yvonne of the Elgins was the lead singer of the girl group The Donays who recorded the original version of that song ("Devil In His Heart", 1962). So she has a Beatles connection. They liked the song enough to cover it, so they must have liked her voice.
