After I first saw them do Teardrops Follow Me at The Murray the K show where they really put on the moves ! They played a Show in Greenpoint , Brooklyn ,where I grew up ! they did another great show , then they joined Dion after he left The Belmonts , I was 13 to 15 yrs.old at those times ! I do remember everyone was shocked and some angry that he dropped the Belmonts , but we loved the Del Satins and got over it quicly , when the Belmonts had a hit with Come On Little Angel

I was born in Greenpoint and lived on Manhattan Ave between Huron and Green. .

I saw the Del Satins at the 292 CLUB in the Bronx 149th st. NYC great boys.

Let us not forget the late, great Johny Maestro of the Crests fame was a part of the Del Satins before moving on to the Brooklyn Bridge. A lot of history here.
