Tampa Red was one of the greatest Slide-guitar-players in Blues-History and became the first one to record with a National Style 4 tricone guitar! Here you hear him playing Ragtime on it! Amazing!

If indeed 70 RPM is the correct speed, it would certainly be an anomaly. I believe whatever "laboratory tests" Pan Records uses must be quite flawed if this is the result they give.

How do you want to know that 70rpm are the right speed? In my ears 78 rpm (converted back with audacity) are o.K., not so lamly ... How do you want to know ...???
