There is no doubt that the Signals - Hold Your Fire era was much more unique and musically adventurous, and thus more progressive, than the 70s stuff. I have no problem understanding that the 80s was a huge disappointment to original fans of the band though. 70s Rush was bad ass, 80s Rush was spectacular.

Some people don’t like the heavy synth use period of Rush but I love it! Very atmospheric sounding here.

I remember when this was a brand new video when it first premiered on MTV as a showcase video reveal in 1985.

Of all the Rush albums, this is the one I have listened to the most. I remember playing the tape over and over on my way to and from work. All the songs are magnificent.

I would like the whole video to be just a continuation of the first 12 seconds.

"Mystic Rhythms" is one song which, when Rush played it live, made the audience shut up and stare. All the typical rock concert craziness out in the seating area came to a halt. "Working Them Angels" is another one that had the same effect.
