When I was 21 one morning getting ready for work my stepfather had been having trouble breathing and talking and I had heard him from the other room and as I walked in he was barely audible and he told me he could feel his lungs filling with fluid and I rushed to help him and I grabbed his hands held him up told him to squeeze if he was still with me as he progressed to having cardiac arrest take over him and his last words where he was sorry and he loved me and he pretty much raised me into what I am today he moments after that passed away in my arms and it was surreal and I had come across this song and it hit home for all he had done for me in life and how he paved life for me as it is today and had taken care of me for so long and helped me in my low points
