Paul Cardall is a heart transplant survivor. Gracie was a baby that didn’t survive her transplant. Mr. Cardall has composed a stunning piece of music that portrays the parents emotions, the ups and downs surrounding the process of having to confront the loss of their baby. You next can hear their tears falling as their grieving hearts break, but you also hear the fluttering of angels wings, and the promise of heaven. As you listen on, you can feel in you soul God sending down angels and the Holy Spirit to reassure and comfort them. The tears continue to fall as Gracie is lifted from this world. The end of the song is the TRIUMPH of everlasting life as the angels raise baby Gracie to the gates of heaven. The horns and violins swell as she is welcomed into God’s arms and the parents feel a combination of joy and sadness, but also HOPE as they know that one day they will all be together again in the Kingdom of the Lord! I cry every time I listen...

The first time I heard this I was driving with my dog named Gracie. As it played she had a look about her, as if it was just for her. She has since passed and I played this beautiful song as I buried her. She was my best friend! Every time I play this song I am reminded of my sweet dog and how much I miss her! RIP my Gracie!!

beautiful song!!! Praise the Lord!!!

I first heard this song in college when I was attending these weekly meetings called "get real" where basically about 10-20 kids from my dorm meet together in a room and just chill for an hour, talk about their week, and maybe do an activity. The leader of the group who holds the meetings each week played this song while we were going an activity where were were filling out a paper about what makes us happy. When it was my turn to share the first thing that I said was "That music you just played". A few weeks later my mom dies and my stepmom created a video which was a collection of great pictures of my mom and this song was the background music. I love this song but it brings me to tears.

I came across this piece on Pandora recently, I keep listening to it on repeat! The middle section til the end always gets me!! This piece definitely touches my soul, it makes me get teary!
