There were no satellites back then to bring you entertainment. All the phone calls went on underwater cable and were 50 cents a minute. The network shows we got a week after they showed because planes had to fly the tapes up here.

The year was 1973 and I was living in a house south of Ketchikan, AK on Roosevelt Drive. The water came from a wooden pipe across the road. Pull the wood plug out of the hole and water. The house had no plumbing, only electricity. Enough electricity to power a whole rockin blues band. We were enthralled by the Better Days albums. Once Jack shot Tony in the face we had to quit playing with guns. I was there but if Tony is reading this i was in the outhouse when it went down.
