This very tune should have been the song for the Year of Return. Should be played in the airport every single day...

Growing up as a Ghanaian child I hated these kinda songs. Being young I always get passed or moody hearing these kinda songs because they were not making waves. As I learnt more about my culture and the history or Ghanaian ancestors, I realize just how much our ancestors have gone through and listening to this song word by word I see just how great this song is, if this song was there during the slave age, how much comfort it could have given our ancestors and the hope it could have given. Osibisa was a true genius. May he live forever in our hearts and history!
