Marilyn Scott’s blue-eyed soul vocals and George Duke’s production of the album made this song a wonderful staple of smooth jazz radio from 1996 to 1997, often played alongside the likes of Phillippe Saisse, Bobby Caldwell, and the Yellowjackets. It can still be occasionally heard in hotel lobbies or the speakers of urban strip malls. For me though, this track is on repeat.
