Just rediscoverd this great album after many years. Does anyone know who the supporting musicians were on this session? Especially the guitarist playing the hot jazz riffs?

not too many humans are aware but THIS IS A MASTERWORK ... melody, voice + scat, harmonic dimension, musicianship ... and if you play nylon six, you would know how much of a delight it is to play this.

The first time I heard Kenny Rankin on the turntable at my house, I knew I had to do this song in my set. In fifty years, I have never come across one musician who would attempt to back me on this. It is a disgusting and sorrowful narrative on who wants to cheat the music industry with their bullshit songs, and leaves the real artists twisting in the wind. I will always appreciate this immortal soul, as a real and ready Paraclese to the music industry. He had everything they wanted, but did not how to ask for it. A bunch of nasty bastards, if you ask me.

Wow! a long time between comments. I learned this off of the LP at my place in Sausalito back in 1974. Lotta chords. Kenny will always be a jewel in the crown of the best music. What a voice!
