RCA was, alas, clueless in packaging and promoting its lady singers. I know, I bought almost every RCA album done by any girl singer. They were all so talented but the label had no concept of how to package an album (look at this cover; Jaye looks like he most serious, reserved person on the planet when she was a highly witty ball of fire and the album has NO TITLE, NO CONCEPT, NO VISUAL CLUE as what is on the record. Dinah Shore, also on RCA, had to wait until she was lured away to Capitol to get the first true hit albums of her career because Capitol understood concept, vivid themes and the need for star power.
