The Beach Boys version so much better than J&D or regents versions....by a mile!

I always thought they were saying "Bopperan" when I was younger.

The regents were the first ones to record the doo wop version of this song which is my favorite recording of this song, then this one which is great too, then the beach boys version which was good but sounded more like a thing they did at a party or something like that

I love the sax in this version. Maybe more than the original!

Regents did this first....my favorite....and of course Jan and Dean. The Beech Boys version was good, but more of a recorded party spoof.

Have always been confused by the Beach Boys Party single. Liked it. Like this. Both better than regents.

The beach Boys version was done quickly in a day because the record company was hounding Brian Wilson to complete an Album " Pet Sounds" so to keep the record company off their backs and give them something, they did this and it was a big hit, allowing Brian a few more months to finish off pet sounds
