Joan my sister loved this song and sure sang it well. Thought of her today with these 4 songs I posted. I remember Both Joan & Dorothy singing great harmonies together on this one and many others.

We still play and sing this in our country reportoire.

I always think of a kind sweet lady who I was carer off when i listion to this sweet song mary aish was her name and when i got to know mary that was all mary had in her life all day sitting looking at the birds on a tree in her garden I took mary to all the places mary went with her late husband because it ment so much to Mary I lost mary in 2013 I miss Mary every second of every day God bless you Mary from john xxx

Thanks a million for this music. I grew up on this lovely music by this duet, and i have melancholy memories. I used to sing these songs to my wife when we were a young couple. Unfortubnately, she left me after 23 years and five children. She has now passed on, but I was there for her till the end. These songs hit me right in the heart...............
