This was so 180% on how they Recorded as opposed to how The Supremes worked with Holland/Dozier/Holland from around 1964-1967. They would go into the Studio together and Sing while Girls Aloud did their part individually and then Xenomania mixed it together. In my opinion they are to the UK what The Neptunes (Chad Hugo & Pharrell Williams) are to the US. They talked about how Motown and Phil Spector influenced them as Record Producers then in their own way Girls Aloud are indirectly tied to Motown. In 1987 Berry Gordy sold Motown to Polydor for 88 Million then Polydor sold it to MCA/Universal which means that everytime an Old School Motown Song is rereleased it has to go through MCA/Universal.
