This song captures that feeling of spending a summer day with your first love. Thinking of absolutely nothing but her, holding hands while watching the clouds roll by on the beach or on the soft grass of a field, dreaming awake just by being close to her, and wanting the day to never end.
My favorite from 1959. Some interesting trivia: Listened to it on my Crosley Super 8 (1938) 8 tube desktop radio with real wood housing.Look up Crosley Broadcasting Co. or WLW radio station. Was once the most powerful radio station in the U.S. Still broadcasting from Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is for all the decrepit, ancient, diaper wearing losers out there, who can’t state they like something without trashing something else. Those people are basically mentally ill. The mind remembers the good stuff much more than the mediocre stuff. The attraction of trashing someone else’s music is an act of attempted superiority on that person’s part. Disgusting.
