This song is about a boy and a girl. The girl loves the boy but he does not reciprocate her feelings and grows to despise her. They leave eachother on bad terms. The girl is left broken and soon as she grows older has many insecurites that many people notice and take advantage of. Soon the days become a blur, and darker. Soon she becomes consumed and forgets who she is. For many years the boy travels and starts a career. Not knowing his words broke the girl that used to be his childhood friend. One day he hears the story of a girl who is broken. And remembers his friend. He travels back home, to find she is nowhere to be found. It is only her and her darkness. Message of story: be kind. For every action made, has an equal and opposite reaction and consequence.
