And you said
«We would be golden, when we grow old»
And you said
«We'd never be broken, when we grow old»
But if a river can dry to dust
I guess the Angels we learn to trust can fly away
Like a mountain can lose it’s peak
I now know a heart can change it’s needs quietly
And you said
«We'd never be parted, when we grow old»
And you said
«I'll see you in Heaven, when we grow old»
And so,:
Goodbye, come tomorrow (x2)
Goodbye… Goodbye…
Yeah, …
And you said
«We would be golden, when we grow old»
Saw them last year and it was a good show. Still can rock it. After over 40 years of seeing many concerts, they rank in the top 20! A good time was had by all!
Still come back to listen about 4 times a year. Got my sister hooked on doing the same. There is something about this song, the way Collective Soul does it in this video that make me happy inside. 72 years old now. Wish I could dance. Lucky I can still walk. Blessed that I can still hear this song.
Yes can car. Jesus. She is somewhere. Waiting on brown eyed Tom Petty! Maybe just a dream! I am a good mom. And Tom is a good daddy. My daddy sometimes mommy Tom. Pamala Petty
