Saved my lunch money for a week to see these guys in concert in 1971. They just tore up the Civic Auditorium in Albuquerque that Friday night. Opening that night was a band from Denver which also featured a female lead singer. Thanks for the post.

This takes me back...1970s...Here was this tiny pretty little girl with all this blonde hair looking like maybe she was a young family guest of someone in the band or the stage venue. She was the only female up there. You could almost imagine someone telling her "And this is a microphone..." Well, then the band started, & she walked up to the mike & she wrung her soul out & OWNED that stage. As you can hear, the band was really top notch too. She was, and is, the incomparable Lydia Pense.

It doesnt matter whos error it is . The audio is the worst ive ever heard. If you listen throgh head phones it actually causes pain. TAKE ITGDOWN

my mom was a bay brat. I remember when I first heard Lydia Pense on the radio and was like " you know this person?" and my mom said "of course!" hahaha! great soulful singer
