Pretty sure its a cover of a grand funk song

I saw the original Laserium show so many times and liked this song so much that I sneaked a toy Panasonic cassette recorder into Griffith planetarium and recorded the show so I could listen over and over at home. I was 13.

I have a few of his LPs,but until now didnt know that he did this...great cover
