I would have liked to hear David Bowie re-make this song. And give it accreditation to Jimmy.

James Griffin has been tragically overlooked. A great singer and songwriter!

This could have been a hit if Electra execs had pulled their heads out of their asses and given Jimmy his due.

One of the best - and most overlooked - bands of the late 60s and early 70s.This quickly became one of my favorite albums when I got it, and this was far and away my favorite song on the album. I always loved David Gates, who was a great songwriter, even though this particular one was written by bandmate James Griffin. And, being an L.A. native, they were hometown boys! ;-)But this album was the first where they were joined by the great Larry Knechtel, who lent his magic to many great albums, by numerous albums, before and after his tenure with Bread.Great song -brings back a LOT of memories. Thanks for posting.

Even though I was raped nightly to this song, I still can appreciate the musical quality...
