...who writes a song like this? Tis pure SA to my ears, especially lyrically. "On the brink" visions. Though I suspect "the sound (vocal melody/idea)" was partly a response to the Cure/Joy Division trend of some British bands at the time (only very much better in its results). There was a promo shot once of SA and "Mr. Curehead" together, in a Scottish and English football jersey respectively, jumping for the same ball, but they were/are worlds apart...
