I would agree with you, but I have heard people who have played for a really really long time and just got bored playing tech death. For instance the bass player for spawn of possession. I cannot see that happening to me any time soon. Just look up Erlend Caspersen. He is fucking insane.

I respect every tech death player, it takes years of training to pull this stuff out but still most of it sounds pretty much the same to me. There are few that stand out, like The Faceless and Gorod.
