The album Souvenirs was found ( original tapes ) and released by a French producer Gilles Petard !!Bettye LaVette had always thought the tapes had been destroyed in a fire of the studio it had been recorded !Gilles Petard wanted to make sure that everything had been properly checked and he found the original tapes in Detroit ....:-D Thus giving the world the unique chance to experience all these powerful tracks sung by the fantastic Miss LaVette <3
