The guitar work is that of EDDIE DURHAM. This session showcased the first recordings of single line solos.

A very fine tune. I played it last year the first time with a Quartett in Germany. A little bit slower, but it sounded well

These photos are from Kansas City KS, a small suburb of the REAL City where the jazz was. You should have photos of KANSAS CITY MISSOURI where the jazz was happening. So you ruined the entire video because of your geographical ignorance, you used the WRONG CITY for the photos. What a dope.

When I was young, alas, long ago!-Jazz purists would often complain that the Tuba "muddied" the bounce and elasticity of pure JAZZ.,rendering it somehow inauthentic.I could not ascertain this mysterious factor but found,on the contrary, that the Tuba was an essential and enlivening instrument. And this piece displays exactly what I mean.Lovely m usic.
